Vitanza
was founded in 1930 as a shop dedicated to the restoration of
fine wood furniture using hand-crafted, traditional methods.
In 1988 we expanded our services to include re-upholstery and
Vitanzas own line of original and custom-built furniture.
Through the years we have gained a reputation as the premier
experts in the restoration of 20th Century Modern design, specializing
in Art Deco and Fifties furniture. In 1999, to accommodate more
business, we moved from Manhattan to a larger workshop in the
Bronx. |

Michael,
our president, visits clients premises, providing personal
estimates and consultations. Each piece is treated individually
by dedicated craftsmen and is restored by hand with the utmost
attention to detail. Finally, we involve our clients in the
process and invite them to our workshop to view and discuss
important stages of the restoration.
